A major asset of Leipzig is its excellent location and easy access by all means of transport, and the Meeting​ venue is situated 15 minutes away from the city.


By Air

Leipzig-Halle Airport (LEJ)

Leipzig's airport features daily direct connections to major European cities like Paris, Brussels, Vienna, Prague, Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon. There are also several flights daily to major German hubs like Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Stuttgart, with connecting flights to Leipzig.

Berlin Airport (Tegel TXL and Schönefeld SXF)

There are many flights from European destinations to the two airports in Berlin where one can continue their journey to Leipzig by train. The train ride from Berlin Central Station to Leipzig takes one hour and trains leave every hour.


By Train

Leipzig Central Station is Europe's largest railway terminal station which puts Leipzig in the centre of Europe's railway network. The fast and comfortable ICE trains provide good connections to all major cities in Germany and some neighbouring European countries.

The city train (Tram No. 16) is the direct connection between the city centre and the venue.


Public Transport

Leipzig features and excellent and reliable public transport network which is operated by LVB Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (the Leipzig Transport Company). Congress Center Leipzig is accessible quickly and easily from the city centre by local public transport services. 


By Car

The Leipzig Trade Fair property incorporating the CCL is located directly at a major German motorway: the A 14 (Dresden - Magdeburg - Hannover). Use the exit "Messegelände", or the exit „Leipzig Zentrum" to get even closer to the CCL's main entrance. Ten minutes away from the site, the A 14 intersects with another important German motorway: the A 9 (Munich - Berlin). The Leipzig/Halle Airport, too, is only 10 minutes away from the CCL. Federal Road B2 makes it easy to reach the CCL within 15 minutes from the City Centre of Leipzig.



The Leipzig Trade Fair property, of which the Congress Center Leipzig is a part, offers ample parking space: 6.000 visitor parking spaces, 1.000 exhibitor parking spaces and 380 parking spaces are directly located at the Congress Center Leipzig.​ The cost of parking for participants at the Congress Center is​ 8.00 Euro per day per vehicle


The Meeting Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of/damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
